Over a year later and I suddenly decide this is a good idea...

Hello my dear fan(s)! It is I, Scrappy, back from a hiatus of over a year. Indeed it was a year of frivolity and many an alcohol-addled decisions; half truths, new friends, changed minds, and at the end of it all, a shiny new degree. Look mommy, I have worth!
There was also a summer in there. My cousin got married. One of my better friends gets married this weekend. Seems everything in the world is changing. Me? I started playing GameCube again. That was my big change for the summer.

What next though? Grad school was out. Somehow the idea of 2+ more years of German or Geography just didn't harmonize with me the way I thought it would. I found out that there are many jobs in Korea offered to people with my exact qualifications! (Native English speaker and any bachelor's degree at all) So I looked into that. Teaching English. Found out I could put away a decent living there so I'll try and pay off my student loans that way and... um... get some valuable work and cultural experience? Frankly, I'm doing this because I am not sure what I want to do and I sort of like teaching so this will give me time to think out what I want to do with the rest of my life. The road less taken and all that. I am supposed to be leaving at the end of the month. More on that to come.

No new movie reviews but I shall be posting some new ones soon. For now I'm contenting myself with the books I've been reading. I've been going sci-fi and fantasy with series by Douglas Adams and Tad Williams. Two great series. Both highly recommended.
That's all for now. If you read it all, congratulations. Cheers!
